  Recent external facelift hides a fairly ordinary (but very large) pub inside. Food was decent enough but very standard pub fare. I wouldn't stop out of my way to go here again, but I'd be happy enough if it were my local, and I expect it does well from big groups during fishing and shooting season.

  Beautiful building and nicely stocked bar. Just a shame about the lighting - it is the heart of a beautiful area away from light pollution and people visiting there have a difficult task of seeing any stars. Just a few changes would make all the difference.
